Student Zone

Why Resilience?

Learning resilience is a crucial skill for healthy personal development, particularly when embarking on the transition to HE or leaving the comforts of home for what is often the biggest life change they'll every experience. Your organisation has the final chance to ensure that they are ready, but don't just our word for it.

94% of teachers have students who have recently attempted suicide - FEWeek

70,000 students enter HE each year with a mental health condition, 49% of whom, do not disclose this information – UCAS

1/5 students in FE have used self-harm as a coping strategy – AFNCCF

Student mental wellbeing is a specialised area, that we cannot expect all teachers and support staff to be experts in. We offer talks and resources made by qualified coaches and trained mental health professionals so your organisation can rest assured that your students are in safe hands.
